Mindful Making Workshop – Spring Series – SOLD OUT
With the warmer days of spring comes the urge for impromptu gatherings. We love lazy Sunday lunches where everyone brings a plate, the hours go by chatting with friends while the sunny afternoon stretches into the balmy evening. What better way to enjoy the gifts of summer than by making and sharing delicious plates of food, in a generous serving bowl that you’ve made yourself.
This Mindful Making workshop series is inspired by the delightful spring days that bring us together. Especially the experience of gathering together to share food. We’ll spend a day slowing down and being in the moment with your hands in the clay to create your serving bowl. You’ll make a beautiful ceramic piece that you’ll get years of use from. A bowl that holds your favorite salad to take to your next dinner party or picnic with friends.
The workshop runs from 10am to 2pm, in the Winterwares studio at Stackwood, 10 Stack Street, Fremantle. Including all materials and a vegetarian lunch.
Simone does the firing and glazing after the workshop and your completed piece will be ready to collect within 3–4 weeks. Tickets are non-refundable, though you can transfer to a friend if you can’t make it.
Upcoming workshop dates:
Saturday, October 27 – SOLD OUT
Sunday, November 18
“Thank you so much for sharing your space, skills and calming personality with us all! I had a wonderful time and felt great afterwards. There were some super lovely people in the workshop too, and it’s a wonderful feeling when you walk away from having met strangers thinking that you’ve met someone who you’d love to stay in touch with” Lauren
